When I first set foot on this road, I did not choose it willingly. I was a reluctant soldier, drafted into a battle I never wanted to fight. I fought, not with weapons of steel, but with resistance, fear, and doubt. I pleaded with God to take this cup from me, to open an easier door, to let me bypass the struggles, the pain, and the deep pruning that was coming. But He did not. Instead, He assured me, "I am with you. This road will work for your good and for My glory."

I wrestled with the calling. I resisted the lessons. I questioned the trials. Why did I have to endure financial hardship? Why did I have to confront the spirit of Mammon head-on? Why couldn’t God just bless me without taking me through the fire?

I had to see money for what it truly was: a tool, not a master. I had to unlearn the lies, break ungodly covenants, and trust in the supernatural provision of my Father. The road was narrow, lonely at times, but God never left me. Every step, He reminded me: "This isn’t just about your deliverance. It is about the generations after you. It’s about those who will read these words and find their own path to freedom."

So, if you feel reluctant, if you feel unqualified, if you are asking God, "Why me?"—know this: You are not alone. This road may not be easy, but it is necessary. And on the other side, there is freedom, peace, and a deeper understanding of God’s provision than you ever imagined.
